We pause, delighted and entranced, at the sight of the elegantly dressed ladies grandly walking past us on high heels and with a pert swing of their hips. We look at them with fascination and follow their proud steps with our gaze, which at times is almost secretive.

The often very strangely designed high heeled shoe probably sculpts the feminine figure like no other item of clothing, emphasizing and shaping the beautiful legs and feet of its fashion-conscious wearers.

What can be more delightful for a real woman of the world on her fashion shopping trip than looking round a shoe shop for an hour or two and trying shoes on, searching for “just one more pair” of glamorous and appealing high heels which she “really needs”, which will later decorate her feet as she intentionally wears them, knowing full well and proudly that she will attract our admiring and desirous gaze.

It is not just us, the self-confessed lovers, but most men who know that nearly all demanding, sophisticated ladies have a “thing” about shoes. What a pleasurable feast it is for our eyes when we see pretty, attractive ladies kittenishly balancing as they totter on tiptoes in their high-heeled shoes as they flick through their magazines in cafes, lost in their thoughts.

Sophisticated and delicate strappy sandals, which reveal more than they conceal of a lady’s beautiful feet, sinful, sexy platform mules, classy tasteful pumps with high heels or long leather boots signalling the masterful dominance of their owner, are just some of the many breathtaking and sensational types of shoe which make our hearts beat faster for a moment when we catch sight of them.
